If you have never flown in a light aircraft before or you are interested in starting a PPL then a Trial Flying Lesson is where to begin.
We offer trial lessons starting from 30 minutes duration to over one hour, which can include landing away at a nearby airfield. In this time you will experience flying a light aircraft with you at the controls!
You will be given a pre-flight briefing with one of our qualified instructors. This will include basic principles of flight and an understanding of the exercises you will perform during the lesson.

Following the briefing you will be shown how to pre-check an aircraft before flight and shown the controls and instruments within the aircraft. You will be given the opportunity, if you wish, to assist in taxiing and take-off

Once airborne and at a safe height you will experience climbing, descending, turning and banking. More advanced manoeuvring such as steep turning, can be demonstrated, or if you prefer, just a gentle leisurely flight.

Again you will have the option to assist in landing the aircraft and taxing back to the parking area. A further briefing from your instructor will follow giving you the opportunity to discuss the flight and any further issues now that you have hands-on experience.

You will receive a certificate signed by your instructor as a memento of the flight and further details on the PPL syllabus and costs to take away with you .
